Moreton Island - 22m SUPERCAT - Brisbane's largest day dive vessel.

 

$110 Friday Dive Special!

To introduce our fantastic new boat to Brisbane we are offering Friday diving for only $110! Two dives, tanks and weights as well as lunch on the Supercat for only $110. Extra equipment can be hired for $20 per item.

 

3 Dive Sunday Special!

With the Supercat's onboard compressor, we are able to offer an optional 3rd dive on Sundays only. We only offer this dive when weather conditions, tides and the day's schedule permits. Staff will make this decision on the day. This is a free bonus dive and there will be no discounts or refunds if we are unable to offer the 3rd dive.

 

Dive computers MUST be used on all dives on SUPERCAT. No computer = no diving. Computer hire is available.

 

No Certification Card = no scuba diving.

Certification cards MUST be presented on the vessel to scuba dive or participants will only be allowed to snorkel. Internet access is not available for Diver Verification prior to departure on the morning of the trip. Refunds will not be available for divers without a dive licence.

 

All divers/snorkellers/day trippers must sign waivers, etc before leaving port. No refunds will be given if any passenger refuses to complete our mandatory paperwork.

 

Supercat is a purpose built dive platform. Featuring a huge air conditioned saloon, Supercat will take you to the reefs and wrecks of Brisbane in comfort. Lunch and snacks are served from her fully featured galley throughout the day. Entering and exiting the water is a breeze via the massive dive deck.

 

Supercat has scheduled trips to our outside reefs - Flinders Reef and Moreton Island - every Saturday, Sunday and selected Fridays. On selected weekends we are also offering afternoon/night dive trips.

 

Dive sites:

Include St Paul's wreck, 35 metre Pinnacle, Flinders Reef, Henderson's Shoal, Brennan's Shoal, Smiths Rock, Cementco, Curtin Artificial Reef, Pines Ledge, the historic wreck of the Aahrus, Marietta Dal, Hutchisons Reef and many more. Snorkellers:

Snorkellers are welcome - MUST be able to swim and snorkel and be over 12 years of age. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No babysitting facilities are available onboard at any time. Includes mask/snorkel/wetsuit hire.

 

Resort Dive (Try Scuba):

If you are not a qualified diver and would like to try scuba, this is for you. Candidates must be able to swim and currently not have nor had any history of asthma, lung or heart problems, diabetes or any serious medical condition. On the day Instructors may not allow candidates to scuba dive for medical reasons. There is no refund if the candidate is found to have one of these conditions on the day.
Includes day on the vessel, snorkelling, buffet lunch, 1 scuba dive with the Instructor, all equipment, certificate.

Please note that you cannot fly within 24 hours after you have scuba dived!

 

Departure time for morning trips:

Load at 6:45am at the rear of our Toowong store for a 7:00am SHARP departure in our courtesy bus. If you wish to meet at the vessel, load at the Supercat, berthed at Newport Marina, 158 Griffith Rd, Scarborough at 7:30 am. Please note we are located at Newport Marina not Scarborough Boat Harbour (see map below).

 

Return time:

Toowong at approx. 5.00 pm.

 

Departure time for afternoon/night trips:

Loading times for the afternoon/night dives need to be confirmed with the dive shop as departures will change dependant on sunset time.

Return times will vary according to the departure times.

 

Includes:

Double boat dives, 2 tanks and weights, buffet lunch, tea & coffee, dive staff.

 

Courtesy bus:

Our Courtesy bus has limited places available to people without transport only.

Also note that parking facilities are NOT available at Nautilus Scuba for divers to park their cars all day.

Notes:

All divers are required to provide: A certification card, dive knife and a SAFETY SAUSAGE. Only qualified Advanced Divers or Advanced students are permitted to participate in any night dives. All night divers must have their own torch and cyalume stick.

Bookings:

Can be made by phone using a credit card or by downloading our booking form and FAXing it back to us. We MUST receive payment in full to confirm your place before the trip. By booking you are accepting our trip conditions. Always check with Nautilus by 3:00pm on the working day prior to your departure to confirm the schedule. Prices, trips and destinations are subject to change without notice due to weather, availability, etc. No refunds of any kind will be given for any unused portion of a trip. This includes dives and/or hire equipment. If any dive is missed it is gone! For further information, please contact our staff.
