Equipment Requirements at Leadership Level


All candidates who are considering Leadership Level Training with Nautilus Scuba Centre have a responsibility to wear Workplace Health & Safety and Nautilus approved diving equipment for all work situations. At this level, a candidate is expected to be self sufficient. His or her equipment should be modern, recently serviced and in good condition. Candidates must remember they are setting examples to divers and students.

Your mandatory equipment includes:

  • Silicone mask and snorkel, open-heeled fins, boots and gloves
  • Balanced regulator with ocy and power inflator*
  • Gauges with compass, computer and gauge guard*
  • BCD with whistle*
  • Glued and stitched wetsuit*
  • Weightbelt with metal buckle*
  • 2 tanks*
  • Dive bag or bin*
  • Spare parts kit
  • Dive torch (powerful) and backup
  • Nightlight
  • Slate
  • safety sausage (SMB)
  • Knife
  • Logbook
  • Dive-tables
  • Dive Alert/Horn
